- El Morro is the official newspaper for Fort Buchanan. It is
published monthly in accordance with Army Regulation 360-1, with
a circulation of 5,000 copies. It is available free of charge to
everyone on Fort Buchanan (PX/Commissary, PXtra, El Caney Lodge,
Community Club and Conference Center, Post Office, 1st MSC, PAO
Office, Fitness Center, Rodriguez Army Health Clinic, Bowling
Center, Golf Club, Welcome Center) and other distribution points
such as: the Puerto Rico National Guard and Coast Guard
headquarters, the Puerto Rico Air National Guard Muñiz Air Base,
and Veterans’ Medical Center. Each edition contains information
for Soldiers, civilian employees, tenants, contractors working
on Fort Buchanan, Family members and retirees within the
installation and surrounding communities.
