OUR
SERVICES:
The
Central Registration Office provides a one stop service for enrollment in CYS
Programs. Services:

Registration
for full day, part day, hourly care, sports and instructional classes

about on and off post child care
The
following documents are required to complete registration:
1.
Forms (for your convenience, you may click on the form you need for a PDF
version):

Military/Civilian Identification Card or proof of employment. 3.
Current immunizations record for each child. (Only for enrollment at CDC) 4.
Legal/official proof of child's birth (i.e., passport, ID Card, birth
certificate) 5.
Two emergency contacts with names and telephone numbers. 6.
LES and pay statement. Total household income will determine the fee categoryin
child care programs. (Only for enrollment in CDC and SAS). 7.
Family Care Plan, if applicable. It
takes approximately thirty minutes to complete the registration process. Parents
must attend a program orientation with Program Directors prior to beginning in
the program. The Central Registration Office is located at
Bldg. 1020-A, Garcia Street, Buchanan Heights. Hours of operation are 0730 -
1700, Monday through Friday.
Child
Development Center (CDC)

Offers full-day care for children 6 weeks to 4 years old. Hourly service is available. Reservation is
required for the hourly services.

Age Services (SAS)

SAS offers different
activities for children, kindergarten through 5th grade. It provides supervised individual and
group activities to complement, not repeat, school experiences. this program
comes complete with the youth technology lab where children not only can learn computer skills but also
digital photography.
A Supervised Homework area is also available. Full day service is provided on school holidays
and on teacher-in service day. Summer Camp is offered on June, July and August. SAS hourly program offers occasional care to patrons not needing care on a regular basis.

The Sports Program
offers opportunities for children 4 to 18 years old. Three sports are conducted throughout the year with a fee per season
/ per child, with 10% discount
on second child for active duty/ DoD employees and other
eligible patrons :

Demographics: children, grades 6th to 8th. We have computers, electronic games, and
board games. Different activities are coordinated throughout the year by the

4H Programs. Summer Camp offered from June to August.

Teen
Center Program

Demographics: teens, grades 9th
to 12th. The Center has pool tables, electronic games,
among other recreational and educational activities. this program comes
complete with the youth technology lab where children not only can learn computer skills but also
digital photography. Different
activities are coordinated throughout the year by the Teen Council. Some of
these activities are lock-ins, outdoor camping, rafting trips, and teen dances.
We also offer a summer camp from June to August. A Teen Volunteer Program is coordinated and offers
volunteer services to our Fort Buchanan community. Our program is also involved
in the Boys an Girls Club of America and 4H Programs.

The School Liaison Officer provides a link between military families and on and off post schools to assist them with those unique problems that military children face. Through partnering with the local and military community, the SLO uses a variety of resources to provide assistance with issues concerning student transition and educational needs.
