    School is back in session Wednesday, August 6, 2014. The school is changing their drop off at the schools which will change our traffic pattern around the schools. Safety first!

    IMPORTANT GATE ACCESS INFORMATION

    NEW SPC FRANCES M. VEGA GATE OPERATING HOURS

    The 1st Mission Support Command will be conducting MP certification training, thus augmenting Fort Buchanan’s ACPs Security Responders. Therefore, starting 21 January until 22 September 2014 SPC Frances M. Vega Gate will be open from 5:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. for Inbound and Outbound Traffic (when MP manning is available). The Commissary Gate remains open for Inbound and Outbound Traffic 24/7.

    In order to serve you better, please remember:

    All military and civilian personnel must have ID cards and Driver’s License readily available to be presented at the gate.

    Drivers using PR-28 (Goya Road) DO NOT block the intersection when entering the Commissary Gate. While waiting to enter the installation, you must abide by Commonwealth of Puerto Rico’s Traffic Laws.
    Always leave home early and plan for traffic delays entering and exiting the US Army Garrison Fort Buchanan.
